Parkinsons Disease - Levodose^®
Sensidose AB believes that an immediate application for the technology and the advanced electronic dose automate would be for levodopa/carbidopa tablets for Parkinson’s disease (PD) patients. The problems of dosing PD patients with oral levodopa tablets is well established, and the dose automate offers an alternative. Micro-tablets have been manufactured that contain 5.0 mg of levodopa and 1.25 mg of carbidopa in a 20 mg total tablet weight micro-tablet (Levodose^®).
